Officiant Doug
Every couple's story is different, and so is how they want it told. Here's how I work, and the ways we can build your ceremony together.
Four ways to work together, depending on your timeline, your budget, and how hands-on you want the writing process to be.
Your Story, Beautifully Told
This is the full experience, built for couples who want every word written specifically for them. It starts well before the wedding day: we'll have one or more planning conversations where I get to know your story, your families, and what you want this moment to feel like. From there, I write a ceremony script from scratch — built around your relationship, not adapted from one.
What's included
Best for couples who want the ceremony itself to be a genuine highlight of the day, not just a formality on the way to the reception.
Your Story, Simplified
Not every couple needs — or wants — a fully custom script, and that's completely fine. If you love a simpler process, I have a set of proven, beautifully written ceremonies ready to go: warm, well-paced, and tested through hundreds of weddings. You pick the one that fits your vibe, we tweak the names and a few personal details, and you get a ceremony that still sounds heartfelt — without the planning conversations and back-and-forth of a fully custom script.
What's included
Best for couples on a tighter timeline, a tighter budget, or who simply don't need every word custom-built — just delivered well.
Marriage takes as much intention as the wedding does. "Your Story, Together" is an online premarital course, built to satisfy Florida's marriage-preparation requirements, that helps couples actually talk through the things that matter before the wedding — communication, expectations, conflict, finances, family — instead of discovering them for the first time six months in.
What's included
This isn't a box-checking exercise — it's a chance to start the marriage as intentionally as you planned the wedding.
Ready now? This one's for you. Come to my micro chapel for a short, sweet, completely legal ceremony — vows, pronouncement, license signed and filed, all in one visit. No months of planning, no long guest list, no fuss.
What's included
Ideal for elopements, courthouse-style simplicity with a personal touch, or couples who'd rather put the budget toward the honeymoon than the ceremony. Bring your license and your favorite person; I'll handle the rest.
Dates book quickly in wedding season. Reach out with your date and venue, and I'll let you know if I'm free — and how we'd make it yours.
